For those of you interested Only in TRAVEL, I (Jack) wrote the blog between MARCH 2010 and October 2010 during our travels west. We saw the most beautiful places and had the best time in our big truck and little trailer. See Blog Archive below.

Where is Jack, Day 35?

Nancy got good news, tonight! Aunt Judy finally has internet, again, and she'll be reading my blog!!! Whoo Hoo!

Of course she would pick a day when I don't have too much to say. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning, but then Nancy said, "Wanna go for a walk?" Well, that got my attention! We walked out of the campground and quite a ways down a street. Now, I know Nancy is feeling better.
We got a slow start after that. Nancy kept moaning about the laundry she had to do, and then decided to do it, later. The ladies thought they should go to the Taos Pueblo. So, Deb went with us and we met them there. We pulled up to the parking lot. Nancy carries an extra set of keys so she can leave me for short times in the air conditioning. Before I knew it, they were back.  They wanted $10 to get in and $5 to let you use your own camera to take pictures.  Nancy remembered the run in that she and Rich had with them over it and refused to pay to use their own camera. She snuck some pictures of the outside, anyway, at the time.

Princess and Wilson decided to go ahead in, and Deb and Nancy decided to go to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge; a place that Rich and Nancy were many times.
Colorful bus:
A few pictures of the gorge from the bridge: Nancy sure wished she'd had her old 35mm with her. If you look closely, you can see a couple of rafters. She didn't take many pictures because I think she has at least, I mean at least 50 at home plus movies of rafters, the gorge, and the bridge, itself. To enlarge pictures if you're on a mac, you can press command and the plus sign. For PC users, you can press control and the plus sign.

The plan was to meet back up for lunch at a place called Michael's. We did, but there was a long wait so they decided on a more upscale restaurant called Wendy's. As usual, they laughed a lot at lunch.

We returned to the campground and we all sat around for a while. Then Deb, Wilson, and Princess went fishing, and Nancy FINALLY did the laundry.  Tomorrow she said I have to wait outside while she washes the floor in the camper. Then we'll be all set to move Wednesday.

The ladies returned home "fishless". We sat around and gabbed, and then Princess came out with yet another wonderful dinner for her friends. Nancy has said it many times, but she said it, again, tonight.  Princess is an excellent cook--chef, really.

I know there are things I've forgotten to mention, but I'm zonked and half a sleep.  Again, I'm so glad that Aunt Judy is going to read my blog and follow our travels. She's a dog lover, and I sure wish she could have come with us. When they are together, which isn't often, unfortunately, they laugh 24/7. Good night, all.
