This morning we went over to Lake Mead and Susie threw the ball in the water for me. I don't like this lake, but I don't know why--maybe the rocks on the bottom. Anyway, there was a man who had three Australian Shepherds. One looked like my friend, Tucker, and the other two were different colors. The man was loud, but maybe it was because he was a little tipsy before noon. He was making fun of some people who were trying to sail a catamaran.
Nancy and Susie went to lunch after we played, and then Nancy went to Walmart to buy a few things. She needs to get back into the "traveling alone" frame of mind and out of the jitters, but has a lot to do in a short amount of time before heading across the desert. Among many things is an oil change, and for some reason there seems to be an absence of places to go around here. She'll look on the way back from the airport after dropping Susan off, tomorrow.
Susie went into Las Vegas to walk around, again. She really likes to keep on the move. As for me, I'm still drying off four hours later! When Susie comes home, Nancy's going to get her laundry done. The rest can wait until, tomorrow.
There isn't a lot to say, today, unless we do something later on, but I think Nancy just wants to relax. The heat got to her, today.
