And, the did... |
Mary had her port out, today! I haven't heard anything more. It was outpatient early this morning. I'm guessing she might be a little sore for a day or two, but it's a big step! She was very excited and at the same time very nervous. Nothing any little girl should have to worry about. She fought a long, long courageous battle and she won! Removal of the port is a special step. I hope that research will continue until no child ever has to worry about and suffer through cancer, again.

This is a picture I took when I was in New York last year |

I suspect the smiles are even bigger, today. |

This is Mary's little sister, Ally, who is as happy as Mary and her Mom and Dad are because Mary's port is out!

That is fantastic news. Mary has conquered more than most of us ever do in life so she has a whole big world out there just waiting for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks to our Dear Lord for another miracle. You have made my day with this news. Please tell Mary and the family how trilled we are. We have big smiles on our faces too!
ReplyDeleteThat is great news. Thanks for the update.
