For those of you interested Only in TRAVEL, I (Jack) wrote the blog between MARCH 2010 and October 2010 during our travels west. We saw the most beautiful places and had the best time in our big truck and little trailer. See Blog Archive below.

The Birthday Boy

Today is Jack's eleventh birthday, but he doesn't act old. He's a clown, and has made me laugh since the day we brought him home. He is a wonderful companion and a gentle giant of sorts. I love him with all my heart.

The other day the hat, now more pictures. Sheesh! I'm not looking at you.

This is what I have to say about you and your flash, Nancy.

Okay, I'm getting down.

Okay, flash away. This is as interesting as it's gonna get!

  3. All right Jack! Way to take command! You don't have to smile on your birthday if you don't want to BUT I think I would be thankful to be so spry at 11 and to have such a loving caretaker, friend and companion. Happy Birthday Jack!! Here's to many many more and lots of adventures that will get you up on your feet and out and about!

  5. Thank you for all your good wishes, everyone. After one of our walks, today, Nancy took me all over on errands, and then we took a ride. She took me to a dog park that has the bouncing water so I could get cool, and then we went home. She said the truck smells like a wet dog! Well, DOH! It's a cool park, but not many dogs were there, today. Too hot for people, I think. She did a post about it last July. http://www.johnscreekga.gov/services/parks/parks/dogpark.aspx

Beneful, the dog food company spent $500,000 improving it because the park won some sort of contest. It's rated as one of the best dog parks in the country. Glad someone loves dogs as much as Nancy.

All and all, I had a great birthday. :)

  10. Hey, Molly! I wish you could have been there, too! It is so cool. If you ever come up here, I'll take you. It's not too far from my house. Nancy likes to take me when she thinks there won't be too many people or grumpy dogs so we don't go on weekends. We haven't been in a while because of the awful heat, but Nancy decided that for my birthday I needed a treat. Love you and miss you, too, Molly.
