For those of you interested Only in TRAVEL, I (Jack) wrote the blog between MARCH 2010 and October 2010 during our travels west. We saw the most beautiful places and had the best time in our big truck and little trailer. See Blog Archive below.

Jack is 13!

Snoozing on His Birthday
Really, Nancy?

So Many Good Memories in 13 Short Years

I tried to upload a video of Susan and me singing Happy Birthday to Jack while he sniffed the cake she got him, but it wouldn't upload. I'll try a little shorter clip.

Maybe I just didn't do it right.

  1. Happy Birthday Jack. You sexy thing. Sure hope you enjoyed your cake (not too sure about the singing though - they sound kind of like Mom).

    1. Hi Scoot and Skit! Thanks for coming over! I was only allowed to sniff the cake, but I did get to chew a rawhide bone (haven't had one in AGES!). Nancy doesn't know it, but I hid it in a chair in another room. Was tough to find a spot where I knew she wouldn't find it! As far as their singing they won't go far with their talent.

  2. HaPpY BiRtHdAy To YoU! HaPpY BiRtHdAy To YoU and many more Believe me Jack reading this is better than hearing me. Fred sends his Best Wishes and wants to know if you saved him some cake?
Since we don't know when Fred's birthday is we celebrate on the day we met.

    1. Your "singing" really was better than theirs, Ms. Jo. Well, that's a good idea about the day you met. I hope you'll post on that day so we can sing to Fred! Tell him the whole cake is in on the counter minus a little bit. I was allowed to sniff it. Susie said she just had to buy one. After all, I am 13 now!

  6. Jack, you are the best dog ever and I haven't even met you yet! But I want to wish you happy birthday with many more to come. From a fellow blogger, I think you make traveling sound like so much fun. Especially your joy when you see a lovely stream or lake. If I were with you I would want to jump right in too. Hugs, Karen
