For those of you interested Only in TRAVEL, I (Jack) wrote the blog betweenMARCH 2010and October 2010during our travels west. We saw the most beautiful places and had the best time in our big truck and little trailer. See Blog Archive below.
Rich and I were in a town called Choteau, once. I think it was in Montana. He spied an ice cream shop and the motorhome that couldn't stop on a dime for an antique store managed to stop for ice cream. I went in because "ice cream always tasted better when I got it for him" and the lady behind the counter was saying to a young man with several children, "Well, happy birthday to you, too." The young man turned to me and said, "How about that...running into someone born on the 4th--that's my birthday." I said, well, I was born on the 4th, too. They thought I was kidding so I showed them my license. What are the chances of meeting two people in a little town called Choteau that all were born on the 4th of July? Memories.
Thank you for your birthday wishes, Sherry. Hope you and David enjoy the 4th. October must be a busy date for a lot of couples. :)
