I haven't b...I appreciate everyone stopping by. I haven't been keeping up with blogs for a week or so.<br /><br />It was good to get out with an old friend. Fortunately, there were benches so Marie could browse through the little stores. I was fine with waiting outside and people watching. It was more crowded than I've every seen it before; still we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. It's not a place you go for the food, anyway (although the fried green tomatoes are delicious), but it was fun just seeing the places as they were in the movie.<br /><br />Thanks, Donna. Never heard of a Muscovy duck before, but he wasn't a bit afraid of me as I approached him. You would really enjoy both the book and the movie, I'm sure. I'd actually suggest seeing the movie first (something I seldom do, but then you can put faces with the characters).
