As I said, the doctors did not know that tramadol was addictive; and swore that it would work. They don’t really help the pain, though so I don’t see any sense in taking them. I do take naproxen which is Aleve in prescription form, and a muscle relaxer, and I found a church not far from my home where the pool is not a mile walk from the parking lot. I started going three times a week last week, and I enjoy the world pool afterwards. The couches in my daughters home and my home have become My friends. I’m so glad to hear about your knees—I can’t even remember what it means to walk, anymore. Keep moving and enjoy every step you take! They did give me Tramadol but only took it a few times. Thanks for telling us what it can do because my doctor said it was the mildest pain reliever. Now for back pain I use Excedrin Migraine and it does help take the edge off. But I'm very luck that I don't have any pain in my knees and walking is a joy again. I wish that you could be pain free again too. Take care! The medical field is well aware, now, I think, but weren’t when I started taking it. I still have withdrawal problems and will for as long as months. It’s all about the drug companies. They make false claims and offer “incentives” to doctore to prescribe drugs. I really don’t think my doctors are among them, but I know of some I’d bet my last dime on.

Thanks for stopping by, as always. Again, I miss seeing David on your walk and kayak adventures—such a cheerful, courageous man. He was fine and then the next moment he wasn't. And then they had medications he could take while he traveled and then they didn't. Life just isn't fair. Don't think David is taking Tramadol but I'll ask him.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5666490067321750579.post-50667044288280187852018-08-04T01:16:53.949-04:002018-08-04T01:16:53.949-04:00I took it for 4 years, Sandie. I’m taking Aleve and Advil, now.

There are people worse off. I was just so shocked that they didn’t know the real effects about Tramadol until recently. I’m an OLDER tough old bird than Jim is. So he didn't take them very long and just used Tylenol. He's a tough old bird. So sorry you had to go through this. And I feel so bad that you are still in so much pain.
